Last Saturday we took Haley to play miniture golf for the first time. We asked her if she wanted to go play golf and she said "Hold on. I'll be right back." She went to her room and came back with her golf clubs!
Daddy tried really hard to help her hold the club the right way and to show her how to hit the ball...
but she wasn't super interested in learning the right way to do it.
She enjoyed walking around the "course" and sitting down while we were hitting our balls.
She also liked looking at all the animals and the water, but she wasn't too sure of the "cave" that we went through.
Her main goal on each hole was to pick up our balls before we got to them and put them in the hole for us. Sometimes she dropped them into the hole, but mostly she just held them in the hole for a second and then moved on to the next hole.
We had an alright time, I don't think it's something we'll do again soon, but since there is not much to do in this town we thought we'd try it out. She did enjoy looking at the train, but wanted to see it move, before she agreed to ride it, and they wouldn't start it with no one on it, so we didn't get to do that.
