Haley's 1st Clemson Game

We took Haley to her first Clemson game this weekend. It was a 3:30 game against Presbyterian College. My dad went with us (and took all of these pictures) and we met Sara, Eric and Anna up there. It was raining in the morning, but was down to a very light drizzle by the time we got there. Of course we got there very early and our parking lot was not crowded at all.Haley loved the open space and would take off running and giggling as much as she could. There really wasn't much going on in the parking lot, so we let her run around a good little bit, hoping to wear her out!It was our first time setting up the tv and satellite, but it went pretty smooth and Dad and I got to watch the Gamecocks victory over Georgia! Justin really enjoyed that game too.The Hollars got there after a little while and we broke out the drinks and snacks. Anna enjoyed showing off the outfit that she picked out to show her Tiger spirit. The action in the parking lot started picking up after awhile, so we had to build a little "pen" for Haley. We made a circle out of the table, chairs, coolers, and car to keep her contained, so she couldn't play in traffic. She was busy playing while we did it, and then she turned around to walk away and saw her path was blocked. Then she slowly turned around in a circle and you could just see her figure out that she was trapped. The suckers and some Oreos made the confinement a little better though. We put Haley in the stroller a couple of times and walked around trying to get her to nap, at one point she had her hands covering her eyes, but as soon as we stopped walking she woke up. She was in a good mood though, so we didn't force the issue. It's really fun to see Anna and Haley play with each other. They really seem to get along better and better as Haley gets older. It was finally game time and Haley loved the Tigers' entrance, mostly for the balloons. She clapped along with the crowd and by the time we left was even doing the fist pump some. She was really well behaved at the game, but we left at the end of the 1st quarter. It was 21-0, really hot, and Haley was trying to lay down on the bleacher in between Justin and I.I'm a little worried that I won't have a chance to turn Haley into a Gamecock fan, but I know she really enjoyed going to the game. And of course as long as she's happy, I'm happy - especially when we beat Georgia!
