The Easter Bunny came to visit Haley this year. He left a basket full of goodies and hid some eggs too. (How many eggs can you see in this picture?)

Miss sleepy head making her appearance in the morning.
She headed straight for her basket and her and Cricket checked it out, but Haley got distracted after a few seconds because she found the first egg.
When she got it, she just picked it up and dropped it right into her basket and then turned around and saw another one! I don't know how she knew to put them in her basket, but she did it right away without any direction from us.
After finding a few eggs, she wanted to take a break and eat some stuff. The Easter Bunny filled her eggs with Nilla Wafers, Goldfish, and Puffs and she really enjoyed having some treats for breakfast.
Then she finished rounding up the rest of her eggs and wanted to start playing with her new toys.
She got a couple different bubble things and she really liked chasing the bubbles and popping them.
Then we let her try a Peep. She wasn't too sure about it at first, but ended up thinking it was pretty tasty.
You can see the Peep remnants all over her chin and also see the mosquito bite on her forehead. (Click on the picture to make it bigger.)
Later that day Haley thought she might have missed something in her basket, so she pulled out everything and dug under all the grass to find some Goldfish.
We had a really nice Easter, and Haley definitely enjoyed her treats from the Easter Bunny, hopefully next year she'll be able to understand the real reason we celebrate Easter.
