Last weekend it was rainy and cold and it snowed. This weekend it was gorgeous! It was 70 degrees and sunny both Saturday and Sunday and we took full advantage. Haley loves to be outside, so she got her way a lot the past couple of days. Susiebell was visiting for the weekend, so she took Haley for a wagon ride and walked around the yard with her to look at all the sticks and pine cones that Haley finds so
tasty fascinating.
On Sunday, Haley and I were outside walking around, while Justin was grilling some wings for lunch. It was so nice that we decided to try out Haley's booster seat that she got for Christmas and let her eat outside. She didn't quite get it at first, she came inside because it was time to eat and then we were trying to get her to go back outside and she was not too happy about it. Once we had her plate outside she realized she
was going to get to eat, so she was happy once again.
She ate some peas, deli meat, cheese, and kiwi for lunch, and of course the dogs were right by her side, even with a change of venue.
What's that? It looks like Haley's still wearing pajamas at lunch time? Of course she's not, and if she was, she most certainly wouldn't be wearing Christmas pajamas in February.
I didn't get any other pictures of the day, but we played outside
a lot. I pulled Haley around in her wagon and then she pushed her wagon around some. We snuck into the neighbors yard and used their swingset and trampoline. Haley chased the dogs around with a tennis ball, while Justin and I threw the football. We sat in the grass and threw pinestraw at each other and really just enjoyed the sunshine and each other!
We are really going to enjoy this week of spring weather, before it turns to summer next month!
