Justin's dad bought us tickets to the ACC Championship game for an early Christmas present. Susiebelle brought Arrie down to keep Haley at our house, so we took off for Tampa Friday night and drove for 5 hours in the pouring down rain. It was the first time we've been away from Haley overnight together! Mike and Aunt Vicki came down Friday night as well, so Saturday morning after breakfast we had some time to kill. 
We ended up going to the Seminole Hard Rock Casino. We walked through and were a little overwhelmed at first, so we decided to leave and go check out the gun show at the fairgrounds. I hated to leave without gambling at all, so I put $1.00 into the nickel slots. I couldn't figure out how to play that machine though so I cashed out and got a $1 ticket. We were walking out the door and I put my ticket into the very last slot machine and pulled the handle pushed the button. Then lights started going off and the screen started flashing and I won this:
I never win anything, so I went to cash out and get my $50.00. By the time I got back to the door the other 3 had lost at least $10 trying to be a winner like me! Back at the hotel we watched some football until it was time to tailgate. We had some rowdy neighbors, but had a good time grilling out chicken kabobs and having some beers and snacks before gametime.
We had seats in the club level and it was freezing outside, so we went to the stadium as soon as the doors opened. The club level was really nice and warm and we had a couple of beers, took some pictures, made some friends (I met a fellow orange wearing Gamecock!) and watched the Florida/Alabama game until it was time to go out to our seats.
There were not a lot of highlights from the game, but I did get a good picture of the Army guys parachuting in with the team flags. And although the game did not turn out how we wanted we still had a good time and enjoyed our first kid free weekend together.
