This past weekend Susiebell came down to visit. She arrived Friday night after Haley was in bed and while Justin was working EXTREMELY late. We chatted for awhile and then went to bed pretty early. Saturday morning we got up and had some breakfast. Haley started with a little stranger anxiety, but warmed up really quickly. Susiebell and Haley rocked and chatted on the front porch and then Haley dozed off for a little catnap.
Justin played in a gold tournament Saturday afternoon, so us girls headed to The Parks at Chehaw to visit the zoo. I'd never been there before, but it was pretty nice. We saw the alligators, flamingos, and all kinds of other animals. Haley napped at first, but woke up for most of the zoo. She wasn't too interested in the animals, but she enjoyed walking in the stroller, drooling on the straps, and eating her book.
Then we rode the train around the park, which was pretty nice. Haley didn't like when the whistle blew, but otherwise just relaxed during the ride. Then we headed home for lunch and naps. We played some more in the afternoon and pretty soon it was bath and bed time for Haley. Justin cooked us stuffed porkchops for dinner and we watched Taken (it was really good) and then it was bedtime. It was a really nice weekend and we really appreciate Susiebell coming all the way down here for a visit!
